APHEDA's holistic training in 'Khmer Buddhist' wedding outfitting dressing, hair, makeup and nails.
APHEDA's training continues each year in 6 provincial Womens Development Centres in Cambodia, with 6 trainees in each centre attending our 6 month training course, followed up by a 3 month work experience/income generation period.
From then on, its building a co-operative together in their villages, and income.

Case Study 1 - Ms Khoun Volek from Banteay Meanchey Province.
With only 2 months experience in a private salon, Ms Khoun Voleak, from Banteay Meanchey was a bit unsure of being selected to attend our APHEDA training programme in Kampot, but is feeling very happy in her 3rd week of training, with 2 more weeks to go .... Here she is demonstrating step by step, a one length haircut with skill and confidence to our esteemed guest, Ms Sithon Soth, Director of Economic Development, Ministry of Women's Affairs, who was on a visit to our Training Centre in Kampot — with Sithon Soth, Pech Kimlen, Darren Sokheng Nguy, ក្រុមការងារចលនានារី ខេត្តកំពត and Apheda Cambodia Phnom Penh.
6 months later Ms Banteay Meanchey is very happy with her new skills,
