We went to visit Doeut Lido at the Prey Prum village to see the wedding-outfitting for the bridesmaid. She earned 30,000 riels = $7.50 for each wedding.

There are 3 trainees in the co-op:

  1. MolLyda

  3. Doeut Lido
MolLida stayed in the shop. The other 2 went to do the wedding outfitting. Each wedding they earn $ 7.50.

She is married. Her husband and her parents are rice farmers.
They started the co-op in September 2014. In October they made income 226,000 riels = $ 56.50. In November they earned 127,000 riels = $ 31.75. They have to record in the income book. Up to now after salon running costs, they share the income profit of 70,000 riels = $ 17.50.

The shop was build by Lida’s parent, they supported her by lending $ 350. The training centre supported by the grant contributed $ 61.00 to buy some materials, a cupboard, a mirror and other materials were supported by parents.

The salon main client service is in perming, nail polish and hair straightening.
